Antenatal Breastfeeding Classes
Breastfeeding is natural, but that doesn't mean it always comes naturally. Many parents begin their feeding journey with questions, uncertainty, and concerns about what to expect once their baby arrives.
Our Antenatal Breastfeeding Classes are designed to help you feel informed, prepared, and confident before birth. Through honest, evidence-based information and realistic expectations, we'll help you understand normal newborn feeding behaviours and what the early days and weeks of breastfeeding can look like.

Delivered online in small groups, the sessions provide a relaxed and welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and discuss your hopes and concerns with others preparing for parenthood.

Together, we'll cover preparing for breastfeeding, positioning and latch, feeding frequency, how to recognise effective feeding, cluster feeding, expressing, bottles, common challenges, and how your support network can help you achieve your feeding goals.
Whether you are hoping to exclusively breastfeed, combination feed, express milk, or are still deciding what feeding may look like for your family, you are welcome to join us.

Classes are completely free and can be attended from the comfort of your own home. Partners and members of your support network are encouraged to join too, as we know that support can make a huge difference during the early weeks of feeding.

We look forward to supporting you as you prepare to welcome your baby and begin your feeding journey!

Our Antenatal Classes are delivered by a trained lactation professional.

There will be plenty of opportunity in the class to ask questions, and all discussions are treated with respect and confidentiality.

Other things we do
Breastfeeding Cafés

Our weekly cafes offer a safe, friendly and understanding environment for breastfeeding mums to connect, chat and feel supported. We chat over tea (or coffee) and cake, discussing a different topic each week.
Drop-In Clinics

We run regular clinics for mothers who may be looking for reassurance or help with any challenges along the way. Whether you're experiencing difficulties or just want to ask a few questions, our clinics offer a safe, private, and confidential space.
